Elizabeth Ardans
Spanish native-speaker. Speaks English and Portuguese.
Holds a translation degree from the University of the Republic (Uruguay) and a Proficiency in English degree from Cambridge University. She is a member of the Uruguayan Translator’s Association.
As a translator, she has specialized in the fields of health care, education and marketing. Recently, she has taken up courses in Fashion Translation, Digital Marketing, Community Management and WordPress design.
Her love for visual arts has led her to explore different areas, such as painting and fashion design, and she has also worked as an image consultant and as supervisor of the National Choir of Uruguay.
She lives in Montevideo, Uruguay.
Fernanda Trías
Spanish native-speaker. Speaks English and French.
Holds a translation degree from the University of the Republic (Uruguay), a Proficiency in English degree from Cambridge University and a Master’s degree in Creative Writing from New York University.
Author of three novels and one book of short-stories, published in Latin America and Spain, she is considered one of the upcoming voices of Latin American literature.
As a translator, she has specialized in the fields of health care, literature and subtitling.
She teaches creative writing at the National University of Colombia and the University of Los Andes, at both graduate and postgraduate level.
She lives in Bogota, Colombia.
