Languages have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, but the word that has always stuck with me was “communication”.  Being able to truly communicate is key to connect with other human beings, and finding how to do it from different perspectives, how to get a message across, has been my main focus in life. Most of my professional and personal activities have to do with communication and self-expression, which has allowed me to approach any project with a varied array of tools. 

After graduating from University as an English-Spanish Translator in 2000, I worked freelance and specialized in health care, marketing and education. I have recently undertaken some fashion translation projects, which is an area closer to my personal interests. 

One of the most gratifying moments of my professional career was when I won the first prize on the Third Translation Contest organized by Proz, the most important translation portal in the world. 

My lifelong fascination with communication and self-expression has also led me to study fashion design and to work as an image consultant.  I also love painting (watercolor and acrylic) and music. In fact, I have been working as supervisor of the National Choir of Uruguay since 2010. 

To keep myself on my toes and exploring different ways to communicate, I am currently studying digital marketing, sales strategies, social media presence and content writing with commercial and advertising purposes.

I apply my expertise to produce highly effective texts, with strong messages, in order to empower people to achieve their professional and personal goals.
